Elberta Farmers’ Market Celebrates a Bountiful 2016 Season

The last day of the 2016 Elberta Farmers’ Market is tomorrow, Thursday, October 13, from 9 am to noon. Let’s show our gratitude to our market master, Sue Oseland, and the local vendors who have nourished us since May, and make a strong showing for the final harvest of the season.
Lots of mushrooms, kale, carrots, cabbage, onions, tomatoes, collard greens, bok choy, radishes, brussel sprouts, eggplant, maple syrup, honey, granola, baked goods, and glorious apples are still to be enjoyed. It’s been a great year, in which EFM saw innovations such as the Grow Benzie food truck, deeply local, GMO-free pasta from Grand Traverse Culinary Oils, and official EFM coffee mugs.
Buy a mug and get a cupful of free Higher Grounds coffee! And hey, pick up an official tote to stick your greens in while you’re at it. Your merch purchases help the market grow—and ensure you’ll be stylin’ on opening day in May 2017.
